Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Fountain. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of our fountain beverage station. This position is ideal for someone with experience in quick service fast food restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores who is passionate about food service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream and fountain beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fountain area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing customer transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all food preparation areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quick service restaurant, café, or grocery store is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
