Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system or similar platforms.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
- Foster positive guest relations through attentive service and effective communication.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Knowledge of food industry standards and practices is beneficial.
- Experience working in nightclubs or high-energy venues is an advantage but not mandatory.
