The concierge position is often demanding and fast-paced, requiring excellent time management and problem-solving skills. On a daily basis the concierge will interact with members and guests from varied backgrounds and therefore an amicable personality and unflappable disposition are a must for a successful concierge.
Schedule: Fridays from noon - 10 pm AND every other Saturday from 2 pm - 9:30 pm plus on-call as needed.

Essential Job Functions:
- Demonstrates superior customer service at all times and a genuine desire to serve.
- Warmly greets and directs members and guests arriving to or departing from the property.
- Maintains an active presence at the Front Desk. Consistently monitors surveillance cameras, wander system, fire alarms, and locked exits.
- Monitors and announces visitors and controls access to the property. Directs visitors and guests to the appropriate party.
- Handles all concierge duties with enthusiasm including, but not limited to:
- Processing incoming mail and outgoing packages
- Responsible for communicating with the Fire department for all drills and emergencies.
- Manages all incoming calls
- Works with the Dining Services by conducting daily and weekly guest meal census, accounts for members away for meals and takes reservations for guest meals.
- Announces special events, activities, church services, meals, etc., and pages staff or members as necessary
- Manages various logs including but not limited to:
- Watchmate
- Lost and Found
- Ambulance calls
- Visitor sign in / out
- Vet Records
- Member status, sign in / out, admission / discharge, status
- Adheres to company standards for resident and guest services.
- Performs other job-related duties as directed.
- Dependable, report to work on-time for every schedule shift (ready to work at beginning - start of shift) and work full schedule shifts unless physically unable or pre-approved Paid Time Off (PTO) which includes personal and vacation.
- Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required by the position and/or approved by management.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be clean and neat in appearance and maintain a “friendly” service-oriented personality.
- Abide by work-related / job procedures and organization policies; (refer to the Employee Handbook).
- Education: High School education, AAS degree preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in a similar communications based position.

- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong PC skills
- Licenses / Certifications: none
- Work is performed in a clean, well lit, “Home-Like,” nursing Home setting.

- May be requested to assist in the evacuation of Members or perform other procedures to protect the safety of Members, visitors and team members during emergency situations.
Salary : $16 - $20
