Duties
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and cookware using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly cleaning floors, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and culinary staff in delivering high-quality meals.
- Help with bussing tables during peak service times to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.
- Participate in catering events and banquets by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Mopping of floors, taking out garbage is all part of this job.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, including food preparation techniques, is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others as needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.
