Job Summary
The Chaplain plays a vital role in providing spiritual support and guidance to all of our Residents at Friends Fellowship Community. This position requires a compassionate individual who can offer support to our Residents in a variety of ways.
Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual care and counseling to individuals and families facing difficult situations.
- Conduct regular visits to residents to offer support and encouragement.
- Facilitate group sessions and workshops on topics such as grief, loss, and coping strategies.
- Lead worship services, prayer meetings, and other religious activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and interventions for reporting purposes.
- Qualifications
- A degree in Theology, Divinity, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Experience in counseling and public speaking is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with bereavement support practices.
- Ability to write reports and documentation accurately and thoughtfully.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to serving the Residents of Friends Fellowship Community.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
