Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, as well as a strong understanding of various construction and maintenance tasks. Duties
- Perform residential and commercial painting tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Utilize airless paint spraying techniques for efficient application.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Assist with masonry work when required, including building and repairing structures.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on various projects.
- Apply knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate paint colors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus.
- Skills in caulking, maintenance person tasks, and basic carpentry are advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to painting projects.
- Knowledge of color theory is beneficial for assisting clients in their choices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
