Sales Associate/Stocker/Cashier

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Accurately handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the cash register.
• Stock shelves and ensure that products are organized and displayed attractively.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store aisles.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary.
• Utilize phone etiquette to handle customer calls professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Experience in cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to stock products efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
