Job Description
The Fundraising & Events Coordinator organizes fundraisers, as well as attending public events, representing Friends for Life Animal Rescue. This role plans, organizes, and collaborates with board members and volunteers to enhance existing fundraisers, as well as launching new events and fundraising campaigns. The current cadence is one large fundraising event quarterly, with additional smaller scale events, on a regular basis. This role also attends off-site adoption events, as well as recognition and donation events, representing Friends for Life. This role requires organization, attention to detail, creative problem solving, collaboration with others, and professional presentation. Minimum 3 years' event planning required.

The other paid position is our Animal Welfare Manager (she has been with us for over 20 years), and Shelter Manager (who has been with us 3 years).
