Friends Forever is an innovative new program, designed to foster lifelong community, connection, and opportunity for Riverview School alumni. Building on Riverview’s legacy of empowering young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Friends Forever marks the start of an exciting new chapter of support and growth through meaningful social engagement, work experience, and inclusive living spaces.
We’re seeking a passionate Administrative Assistant to support our growing program with essential administrative, financial, and event coordination tasks. Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable to the changing needs of a new and growing initiative. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing many hats!
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Financial Support: Manage participant registration, track alumni data, coordinate payroll, handle petty cash, and assist with supply orders and financial documentation.
Event Planning: Help organize large-scale community events, from logistics to volunteer coordination, and create promotional materials.
Participant Engagement: Interact with program participants, provide on-site support, and collaborate with community partners.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
-Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
-Experience with administrative functions like payroll, cash handling, and database management.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and work independently or on a team.
-Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.
-Event planning or experience with inclusive programming is a plus!
-Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, assist with mobility transitions, and travel locally.
-CPR, First Aid, AED certification required (training provided).
-Legal authorization to work in the US.
