Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Carry out floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Execute custodial tasks including dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
• Conduct industrial cleaning as needed in specific areas of the facility.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all cleaning protocols are followed.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests or management regarding additional cleaning needs.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning duties.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is beneficial.
• Experience in hotel or commercial settings will be considered an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.75 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
