Family Medicine Physician
The Family Medicine Physician will provide complete clinical care for all patients under the direction of the Medical Director and by written protocols.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtain medical, social and developmental histories.
- Perform physical exams and immunizations on all patients.
- Initiate laboratory exams and studies as indicated.
- Provide health education and counseling.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses to community standards.
- Consult with specialists in regards to high-risk or complex patients.
- Manage services according to Clinic policies and procedures.
- Exercise judgment in establishing priorities of medical care.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (CQI) program.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members.
- Provide consultations to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants.
Requirements:
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Active California Medical License (M.D. or D.O.).
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Practice/Internal Medicine.
- Active DEA License.
- Current BLS or ACLS Certification.
- Medi-Care & Medi-Cal Provider preferred.
