Primary Responsibilities:
Reception
- Greet all building visitors in a welcoming and professional manor
- Ensure that all building visitors are properly signed in to the building (guests and volunteers).
- Possess knowledge of all services provided by FOR-DO in order to direct visitors to the appropriate destination.
- Answer incoming calls in a professional manner; give out information, route calls, and take messages.
- Maintain general knowledge of outside-related services in order to assist visitors and callers.
- Prepare coffee for visitors as needed
FOR-DO Team
- Provide hospitality to all Turning Point Center visitors and treat all clients, volunteers, and staff with dignity and respect.
- Work as a member of the FOR-DO team in collaboration with FOR-DO staff and volunteers to deliver the highest quality services to all clients, volunteers, and staff.
- Participate in meetings and trainings as requested
- Receive direction from and work under the Program Manager
- Is able to work independently
Requirements:
- Receptionist or customer service experience, preferably in human services or volunteer environment.
- Must be customer service and detail oriented.
- Must have the ability to:
- Follow directions; listen attentively; communicate in oral and occasionally written forms.
- Interact with a diverse population
- Write and print legibly; take clear, concise, and accurate messages.
- Must remain flexible to the needs of the staff, volunteers, and clients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
