Essential Job Duties
- Collaborate with the chapter director to design and implement strategies, aimed at expanding the donor base and achieving the chapter's key objectives effectively.
- Identify, cultivate, and engage new donors contributing 5,000 or more annually, focusing on both North Shore and South Shore communities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-capacity donors through personalized outreach, meetings, and tailored engagement opportunities.
- Partner in the planning and actively support the execution of a diverse range of events, including but not limited to the North Shore and South Shore galas.
- Focus on developing untapped areas with high growth potential, such as Woodbury, Dix Hills, West Hempstead and other emerging communities on Long Island.
- Create engagement opportunities to engage new donors and offer impactful experiences for supporters.
- Focus on developing and engaging foundations.
Position Qualifications
- 8-10 years of proven experience in donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns, and event coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, or a related field.
- Proven experience in donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns, and event planning and execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of proficiency with fundraising software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the Long Island community.
- Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge is a plus.

Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
