Job Description
This role requires the operation of a school bus or other company vehicle, adhering to scheduled routes and special requests. The ideal candidate will prioritize student safety and comfort during transport.
Main Responsibilities
\. Safely drives a school bus or other company vehicle
\. Conducts regular checks to guarantee the vehicle's operational condition
\. Reports any defects to the immediate supervisor
\. Educates students on critical safety practices
\. Maintains a peaceful and organized environment within the vehicle
\. Ensures the interior and exterior of the vehicle remain clean and neat
\. Accurately documents essential information, including mileage, routes, times, and incidents
\. Updates and prepares maps of routes and pick-up points
\. May prepare detailed reports on incidents involving children riding the bus
\. Provides assistance to students with special needs as required
\. Performs routine maintenance tasks on the vehicle when necessary.
