Friendship Dental Laboratories is a proud partner with Denbright Dental Labs. Friendship Dental Laboratories is looking for a skilled Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk.
Overview
The primary responsibility of the A/P and Payroll Specialist is to process payroll through Paylocity and manage accounts payable using NetSuite, ensuring timely and accurate payments while reconciling vendor accounts.
This is a full-time position and is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Accounting Support (NetSuite)
· Manage vendor payables within NetSuite.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
- Review monthly statements from vendors and reconcile discrepancies.
- Process check payments upon management approval, ensuring quality control and obtaining proper signatures.
- Maintain security and control over blank check stock.
- Receive and distribute overhead invoices for approval and proper coding.
- Match and process all inventory-related invoices.
- File paid checks and supporting documentation.
- Analyze accounting reports, identifying and correcting any errors or discrepancies.
- Support Corporate team requests on revenue and reporting.
Payroll (Paylocity)
· Process payroll by preparing pay-data batches, importing time records, conducting payroll previews, and finalizing payroll registers within Paylocity to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review new hires, terminations, and master-data changes, verifying against source documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Work directly with Paylocity regarding payroll-related issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees’ payroll-related inquiries, ensuring timely and customer-focused resolutions.
- Communicate with local payroll entities to ensure proper tax withholding, accounting, and compliance.
- Proactively identify and drive process improvements.
- Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliation of payroll data between HR and Paylocity.
- Assist in payroll-related period-end processes, including payroll, bonus, and benefit reporting.
- Play a key role in year-end payroll activities, including W-2 issuance and coordinating with Accounting and Legal teams on stock-based compensation and taxable fringe benefits.
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc payroll reports for internal and external partners (HR, Finance, Legal, Tax).
- Support internal and external audits, including quarterly reviews, year-end audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance audits related to payroll.
- Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including employees, HR, Finance, and IT.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a business-related field or two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite for accounts payable and Paylocity for payroll processing.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Word and intermediate level MS Excel.
- Ability to analyze problems and resolve conflicts related to accounts payable and payroll processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively relay information to vendors, employees, and management.
- Excellent organizational skills to ensure timely processing of invoices and payroll.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive payroll and financial data.

Pay: From $28.85 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
