Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care and assistance in their daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve in a comfortable home environment.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes in the client's condition to healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation related to client care and progress.
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Experience

• Previous experience in long-term care or senior care is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is beneficial.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is an asset.
• Strong caregiving skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and respect for client dignity.
• Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to client dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Knowledge of monitoring vital signs is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.

Pay: $14.65 - $15.12 per hour
