We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest learners. You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support their development and growth. You will also communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and build strong relationships with families.Your primary responsibility will be developing and implementing the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Furthermore, creating engaging lesson plans and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants in a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in early childhood education or a related field, as
well as experience working with infants. You should have a strong understanding of
child development and be able to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences
for infants. This is a full-time position working 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM Monday- Friday.

Duties
· Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
· Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
· Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
· Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
· Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
· Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
· Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.
· Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
· Degree in ECE or CDA (preferred)- Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience (preferred).
· High energy.
· Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children
· Familiarity with positive behavior management techniques
· Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
· Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
· A strong understanding of child development.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
· Must clear full criminal background check and fingerprinting.
