Friendship is looking for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Friendship Health and Rehab North team, located in Roanoke, VA. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible administering an occupational therapy treatment program under the supervision of a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Execute goal-oriented treatment plans and programs in coordination with other departments
Adhere to departmental, organization and regulatory agency policies and procedures
Assess treatment plan progressions to identify any deficiencies and make adjustment as needed
Participate in program development, quality assurance and improvement efforts
Supervise and collaborate with rehab aides/techs, students and others as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License required
Active NBCOT certification required
Experience in a long-term care/rehabilitation facility preferred
