FVK is recruiting for a compassionate and energetic Restorative Aide to join our Health Center team! This role provides full-scope, hands on functions within the community. This is a Part Time; Every Other Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm opportunity and the pay starts at $19.00 plus years of experience.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Restorative Aide:
- Provides direct restorative care and delegated formalized therapy tasks, as assigned, completing work accurately, safely and in a timely manner. Specific care to include passive and active ROM, ambulation, special positioning techniques, splints, assistive feeding devices/adaptive equipment, ADL training, bowel and bladder management, restorative dining, and bladder retraining.
- Receive specific instruction from formalized therapies when the functions are beyond restorative nursing scope and receive supervision for these tasks from the indicated formalized therapy discipline.
- Receives specific instruction from nursing on restorative nursing techniques through nursing orders.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- A certified nurse assistant.
- A knowledge and interest in the care of the geriatric resident.
- Has knowledge and skills in basic restorative nursing principles and practices. Has further training in techniques and practices of restorative nursing.
