Responsibilities:
- Must possess working knowledge of commercial facilities management experience
- HVAC
- Plumbing Systems
- Electrical & Emergency Power Systems
- Life Safety Systems

- Building relationships with our wonderful residents!
- Work with a high quality, collaborative team.
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
- Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
- Maintain building HVAC in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly.
- Basic knowledge and safe operation of power tools.
- Maintain and utilize tools, equipment and vehicles in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Reports potential safety concerns, incidents, and/or or accidents to Plant Manager or HR.
- Occasionally support other FVD departments as circumstances require.
- Complete all administrative requirements and forms accurately and in accordance with established policies & procedures (i.e. time clock, logs, checklists, etc.)
- Participate in safety inspections and alert Plant Supervisor of any safety hazards immediately. Comply with all safety policies and procedures established by FVD.
- Participate in and meet deadlines for all mandatory training programs.
- Support and adhere to all regulatory requirements (local, state, and federal)
- Follow all workplace safety standards at all times to ensure a safe workplace is maintained
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and pool systems
- May be called to respond to for emergency or overtime work on weekends and holidays as needed
Qualifications:
- A desire to make a difference!
- Willingness to grow!
- 3-5 years of maintenance/HVAC experience
- Comprehension of OSHA and other industry related safety standards and guidelines
- Capable of working independently, prioritize tasks and complete work assignments through online maintenance management system
- High school diploma preferred or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer knowledge
- EPA Refrigerate handling certification
- Must possess working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Life Safety
