We are looking for a Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist within our Human Resources Department to hire individuals who create meaningful and lasting relationships with those who call Friendship Village home, Our Residents!
Essential Duties
- Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Building:
- Utilize various channels and platforms to source, attract, and engage potential candidates, including job boards, social media, industry-specific networks, and talent databases.
- Develop and maintain multiple resources to build an applicant pool, advertises job openings
- Candidate Screening and Assessment:
- Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and suitability for various positions within the company.
- Ensure the proper distribution of applications to hiring managers. Assist hiring managers with the review of applications and resumes, conducting phone screens, and interviewing applicants.
- Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
- Provide clear communication and guidance to candidates, keeping them informed of their status in the hiring process.
- Strategic Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions and requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules, conduct interview debriefs, and facilitate the decision-making process.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Generate and analyze recruitment data and metrics to optimize the recruitment process and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in conducting interviews and/or in customer service or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Bachelor or Associate degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of personal computer programs is required (Microsoft Office).
