- Collects, cleans and redistributes the Community laundry.
- Ensures that all Health Center laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal regulations.
- Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
- Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedure.
- Accomplishes all work in the order or priority set by the supervisor.
- Commercial laundry experience is desirable but not required.
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Ability to process 50-100 pounds of laundry at a time.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, perform simple arithmetic, and follow written or oral instructions in English.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Attends In-Service training and education sessions, as assigned.
