Who You Are:
We seek a candidate with a strong positive attitude to act as an Inventory Clerk for our Skilled Nursing facility. The Inventory Clerk assists the FV Director, Purchasing, in overseeing and maintaining the company’s supply of products and equipment. The Inventory Clerk counts stocks, tracks, and organizes products and supplies, assists in processing and delivering incoming stock, maintains inventory records to ensure that company inventory remains balanced, and provides customer assistance as necessary.

Requirements:
- Maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment for all service levels.
- Stock and organize all supply rooms and Central Supply room(s).
- Place orders for supplies as needed.
- Accept and check incoming orders.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory records to the supervisor.
- Recommend changes in inventory levels.
- Maintain communication between all departments and co-workers regarding re-ordering supplies.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

Frequently required to carry or lift items weighing up to 30 pounds for short distances.
- Occasionally required to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Required to obtain the assistance of another qualified employee when attempting to lift objects over 30 pounds.
- Considerable physical effort, including lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Tolerate standing and walking for up to 8 hours at a time on hard and soft surfaces.
- Frequently performs activities that require stooping, bending and reaching, squatting, kneeling, balancing, pushing and trunk twisting throughout the day.
- Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity.
- Constantly able to communicate verbally and in written form.
- Occasionally required to detect unusual odors that could indicate environmental issues.
