Now Hiring a PRN Assistant Social Worker!
Make a difference at Friendship Village Tempe by supporting residents and families in their care journey!
- Schedule: On-Call, as needed only . Possible shifts include Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM ( evenings/weekends and some holidays)
✨ What You’ll Do:
- Provide social services & emotional support to residents & families
- Assist with adjustments, ongoing care & discharge planning Collaborate with healthcare staff & community resources
What You’ll Need:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's in Social Work or Bachelor’s in Social Work or human relations area with relevant experience in long-term care, preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge of social work theory and techniques and understanding of emotional and physical problems of the elderly and family members.
- Knowledge of psychosocial theory and medical terminology desired.
- Possess exceptional skills in organizing and keeping track of details and documentation.
- Basic computer and data entry skills. Level 1 AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
