Location: Frightmare Farms Haunted SCREAM Park – Palermo, NY
Position Type: Seasonal / Part-Time (Primarily Weekends in September & October)
Job Overview:
Frightmare Farms Haunted SCREAM Park is seeking friendly, organized, and reliable Parking Staff to help guide guests safely and efficiently as they arrive for a night of fear and fun. Our parking team plays a crucial role in creating a smooth and welcoming first impression for thousands of guests each season.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, engaging with the public, and keeping things running in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with energy and a friendly attitude as they arrive on-site
- Direct vehicles into designated parking areas safely and efficiently
- Maintain clear traffic flow and enforce parking guidelines
- Use flashlights, radios, or other tools to communicate with team members and manage parking flow
- Assist with guests needing special accommodations or accessibility support
- Monitor parking lots for safety, cleanliness, and any issues that may arise
- Help with setup, signage, cones, barriers, and end-of-night breakdown as needed
- Provide directions, answer questions, and help guests feel welcome
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and direct traffic outdoors in all types of weather
- Comfortable working in the dark (flashlights and reflective vests provided)
- Must be 16 years or older
- Reliable transportation to and from the park
- Ability to stay calm and clear-headed in high-traffic situations
- Team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
