Through our nationwide network of independent brokers and agents, Fringe Benefit Group has established itself as an industry leader in designing, implementing, and administrating benefit plans for government contractors, restaurants, retail, and staffing companies.


Reporting to the Director of Marketing of Fringe Benefit Group, the Marketing and Communications Manager works as a liaison with both The Contractors Plan and The American Worker Sales Teams and Account Managers. The role is responsible for marketing efforts ranging from email campaigns, monthly reporting, and social media for three business verticals.

ESPRIT DE CORPS

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing on a variety of email, web, and technology projects.
  • Responsible for marketing project process by setting up tasks in the project management system, providing instruction and content management.
  • Clearly communicate project requirements to the requestor to maximize efficiency.


BRING GUSTO

  • Develop and deploy new hire and open enrollment emails by utilizing marketing automation tools.
  • Design, create, and write mass emails to client’s employees promoting their benefits enrollment.
  • Manage quarterly email newsletters to licensed brokers and clients.
  • Own the development and execution of all social media strategies and campaigns.


DELIVER SERVICE

  • Responsible for marketing project process by setting up tasks in our project management system.
  • Be the liaison between marketing and various departments to produce all internal communications.
  • Design, create, and write mass emails to internal staff regarding events, announcements, and promotions.
  • Respond to project submitter’s inquiries, acknowledging and building expectations for resolution; deliver on commitments.


BE EXPERTS

  • Handle marketing lists in multiple marketing automation tools.
  • Provide reporting to the requestor and follow up for monthly email initiatives for email automation platforms such as MailChimp and ClickDimensions.
  • Participate in team meetings, sharing your knowledge of marketing, communications, and problem-solving.


OWN IT

  • Manage multiple B2B social media channels promoting overall services and products.
  • Generate monthly reporting data for social media for sales verticals The Contractors Plan and The American Worker.
  • Build out social media community by daily engagement, posting, and staying abreast of new trends and platforms.
  • Subscribe to and generate new ideas on how we can build our social media presence.


Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 software, including Teams, One Note, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of design principles and experience with digital design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM is preferred. Example: Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce.
  • Expertise with a Marketing Automation tool is required such as MailChimp, ClickDimensions, Constant Contacts, etc.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions, and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines.
  • Must be able to take a project from inception to execution with minimal direction.
  • Strong time/project management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong follow-through and attention to detail is a must.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of marketing/communications experience required.
  • Experience in health and retirement insurance industry marketing or related fields is a plus.
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with compelling solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities, develop marketing project timelines (from start to finish) with the capability to see obstacles early and provide solutions.

Business Travel: Travel is less than 25%

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25 pounds
