Job Summary
The host/hostess is responsible for welcoming customers, provide accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. Ultimately, you?ll ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Greet and welcome guests.
? Always maintains a professional presence at the restaurants entrance.
? Graciously manages the waiting lines and effectively and efficiently seat the guests.
? Know the hours/days of operation.
? Completes post shift side work requirements.
? Responsible for the cleanliness of menus, entrance, and podium areas.
? Adheres to appearance and uniform standards.
? Adheres to all internal controls, policies and procedures.
? Complete other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Shared Responsibilities:
? Answer telephone with appropriate greeting.
? Assists other Team Members in clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
? Assists other Team Members in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room and hostess area.
? Cheerfully accommodate the needs and requests of any Guest.
? Notify the Manager On Duty of any customer complaints to assure customer satisfaction.

Performance Requirements & Specialized Knowledge:
? Punctuality and regular attendance.
? Requires the ability to stand for sustained period.
? Ability to communicate with the dining room Team to assure complete service and Guest satisfaction.
? Ability to learn and communicate efficiently.
? Ability to learn and adhere to the resort rules
? Check with supervisor before leaving assigned work area for any reason.

? Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with resort, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
? Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and operational processes.
? Reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements
? This position requires the ability to drive; sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time without a break; to lift up to 40 lbs.
? Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements, and overhead reaching.
