Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the pool. They are also responsible for maintaining the general upkeep of the pool area itself. This includes, the pool, the deck around the pool, and removing debris.
Pool Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities
- Removing debris from the pool using nets and other tools
- Vacuuming the bottom of the pool using specialized vacuum.
- Cleaning the pool by brushing algae off the walls and vacuuming algae off the floor.
- Making sure the pool deck is free of debris
- Cleaning the pool equipment such as skimmers and baskets.
- Straightening chairs and umbrellas to prepare to open the pool.
- Perform opening procedures.
- Enforce all pool rules.
- Verify Amenity cards of resort guests and members.
- Verify all equipment meets safety standards.
- Keep deck areas neat, clean, and orderly at all times.
- Always maintain a polite and courteous attitude with all members and guests.
- Report to work on time and in uniform for scheduled hours.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and qualifications
This position requires complete mobility and the ability to withstand extreme outdoor environments. Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk a minimum of 8 hours daily and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

- Great customer service skills including listening carefully and exercising patience.
