Job Overview
The RN Cardiac Cath Lab will be a multi-modality role to cover Cath Lab, Invasive Radiology and Stress Testing. This position requires providing assessment and care of patients undergoing transesophageal echo (TEE), cardioversions, cardiac and vascular procedures including percutaneous coronary intervention (PTCI) as well as percutaneous vascular intervention under moderate sedation also for pre and post procedure cardiac/vascular patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe medication administration for the cardiac patient
- Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies
- Demonstrate knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system
- Utilize appropriate hand off of care amongst healthcare givers
- Adhere to department standards for documenting patient care
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days of employment start date
- NH Licensed Registered Nurse or valid compact state RN License
- Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing
- 1 year of Cath Lab and/or IRN experience required
