Job Summary
As a Radiology Student Tech, you would prepare patients and collect relevant information for completion of procedures. You will perform general diagnostic radiographic procedures with technologist supervision.
- You will be observant of patients’ conditions.
- Practice radiation safety as described in Federal standards, utilizing ALARA policy.
- Understand and operate electronic information systems, and compile appropriate records to expedite results.
- Operates mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment within the department, in the OR, and throughout the hospital with supervisor.
- Provides documentation of competency exam.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Must have completed first year of training in Radiology Program.
- Basic Life Support Certification within 30 days of hire.
