Middle School Pastor

Overseer of the Middle School (6-8 grade) ministry. The Middle School Director shepherds their leaders who then care for their students. The MS Director cares for the leaders, parents and students through study, events, and serving. The mission of MS (in conjunction with the mission of SM) is to help each group grow to Connect with God personally, grow in authentic community, and have an Impact for God’s kingdom in the areas of influence God puts them in.

This is a leader of leader position and includes administrative and event needed skills

• Disciple students and families into a personal relationship with God
• Grow the ministry by prayerful evaluation and implementation of intentional strategies
• Build and shepherd a passionate adult team to help shepherd and disciple students
• Provide students with opportunities for growth and spiritual maturity
• Challenge the students to respond to God’s call to serve in their communities and world
• Manage the admin details of a large youth program in a team environment
• Help plan, develop and implement all aspects of a balanced youth ministry, including events
• Mentor leaders and students in developing their leadership skills
• Share cultural changes with student’s parents to assist them in better understanding their students and the culture they live in
• Recruit and train volunteers to serve in various aspects of student ministry
• Select Sunday and mid-week curriculum, teach and coordinate other’s teaching in these areas
• Manage the Middle School Ministry budget

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,094.00 - $52,180.00 per year
