Job Summary:
The Frisco RoughRiders is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Seasonal Assistant who is highly motivated with exceptional people skills to be an integral part of the RoughRiders Corporate Partnerships team. This individual will assist the activation team in fulfilling all contractual obligations for corporate partners both in-game as well as during off weeks with partner events. Individuals will assist the sales team with prospecting clients, building out proposals and ideating on new concepts to bring to Riders Field.
The Frisco RoughRiders is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Seasonal Assistant who is highly motivated with exceptional people skills to be an integral part of the RoughRiders Corporate Partnerships team. This individual will assist the activation team in fulfilling all contractual obligations for corporate partners both in-game as well as during off weeks with partner events. Individuals will assist the sales team with prospecting clients, building out proposals and ideating on new concepts to bring to Riders Field.
Reporting directly to the Director of Partner Services, the Sponsorship Activation Assistant will be responsible for assisting with all fulfillment duties as it relates to our corporate partners. This entails coordinating suite nights for partners, working with internal and external teams to schedule out promotions and theme nights and taking photos for year-in-review recaps.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Assist with the planning, execution and tracking of sponsor promotions and events and provide updates to the Director of Partner Services
· Assist with all sponsorship activation elements including but not limited to: updating sponsor signage, distributing sponsor items, taking photos, etc.
· Activating partnership relationships with sponsorship properties and account executive
· Execute sponsorship contests, including gathering entries, calling winners, and facilitating prize distribution.
· Oversee sponsorship contracts and ensure all elements are being executed in-season, including but not limited to: coordinating sponsor giveaway items in conjunction with the entertainment team, off-site appearances, and sponsored events, etc.
· Assist the team in all partner events hosted at the ballpark throughout the season.
· Assist in the preparation of sponsorship year-in-review presentations.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players.
• Must have flexible schedule and be willing to work all RoughRiders home games, partner events and complete office hours
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights as most our games begin at 7:05 pm and partner events can be held throughout the weekend.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be a high-energy, detail-oriented team player
• Familiarity with the different facets of Sports Marketing
• Knowledge and understanding of grassroots marketing efforts
• Excellent time-management and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, dependability, initiative, organization, and prioritization
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds, with or without accommodation
• Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players.
