Frisella Nursery, an award-winning landscape construction company, is seeking a seasonal and self-motivated Garden Center Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a top-tier experience for our customers while upholding the high standards of our seventy-plus-year-old, family-owned business.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist customers by digging and preparing purchased trees, loading bulk mulch, and fulfilling plant orders
- Stage plants and materials for landscape jobs
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors
- Water, care for, and maintain the health and presentation of plants throughout the seasons
- Maintain all equipment and hand tools used for daily tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience operating a skid steer (preferred)
- At least one year of experience in a labor-intensive role
- Ability to use a smartphone and related applications for work tasks
- A forward-thinking mindset—someone who can anticipate and plan for upcoming needs
