What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automated Warehouse Associate position at Frito-Lay North America?
Job Summary
Frito-Lay North America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automated Warehouse Associate to join our team.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art automated warehouse, referred to as Geographic Enterprise Solutions (GES) warehouses.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring label/print machines, operating the auto case erector, emptying Carton Recycle, and performing general housekeeping tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor label/print machines to prevent jams and ensure accurate case routing.
- Operate the auto case erector (ACE) efficiently.
- Ensure proper cart handling and storage throughout the warehouse and within trailers.
- Pick products according to orders using required technology.
- Load trailers via carts or stack cases on truck trailer floors.
- Distribute product and assist with weekly inventory.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must be at least 18 years old and willing to work weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours.
You should also be able to lift 15 to 50 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods. Additionally, you should be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, and handle products repeatedly.
Additional Requirements:
- You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
- You are comfortable working in an environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
