Job Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our fleet operations department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our mechanical shop and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the mechanical shop
- Oversee a team of technicians to maintain and repair company vehicles
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and improve vehicle reliability
- Manage parts inventory and order necessary supplies
- Work with vendors to obtain estimates and quotes for repairs
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair, including management experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work in tight spaces and climb ladders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
