Site Controls Mechanic Job Summary
Frito-Lay North America is seeking a highly skilled Site Controls Mechanic to ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability. As a key member of our team, you will provide engineering and technical support in controls (electronic/electrical) areas, develop training programs, and maintain technical expertise.
This role requires advanced preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. You will work 24 hours a day, which means no typical schedule. Responsibilities include providing engineering and technical support, developing and executing training programs, and leading efforts to seek out new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Support: Offer expert assistance in electronic and electrical control systems, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
- Develop Training Programs: Design and implement comprehensive training sessions to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of plant personnel.
- Maintain Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the plant.
- Lead Technology Efforts: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to acquire new technologies that enhance productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old or older.
