About the Role
The Hostler position is an integral part of our warehouse function, requiring strong collaboration and communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating vehicles to transport trailers in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts and other material handling devices.
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading trailers.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles.
Requirements
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Department of Transportation (DOT) qualification.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work a varied schedule, including 3-12 hour shifts and 1-6 hour shifts.
