Job Title: Route Sales Representative
FritoLay's Route Sales Representatives play a vital role in our success. Their responsibilities include delivering, selling, and merchandising FritoLay's diverse product line to local stores such as gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores.
The Route Sales Representative drives a FritoLay truck to different stores, works independently to unload orders, merchandise product, and partners with store managers to increase sales and maintain records throughout the day.
Although you will start out as a Route Sales Representative for FritoLay, we are committed to helping you grow with us. This job can serve as a stepping stone to career opportunities within FritoLay or its parent company, PepsiCo.
Frequent Tasks:
- Learn the basics of the role through four to six weeks of dedicated driving and selling training with our team members.
- Run routes for team members, experience different stores, and meet new customers.
- Grow sales on the route by building relationships, selling in displays, and completing national initiatives.
- Attain a route with set days off/schedule with time.
- Work in a fun, fast-paced, and physical environment.
We operate 24 hours a day, so you may not have a typical schedule. Team members often work weekends and holidays. Our jobs are physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet for the entirety of your shift.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Hold a valid driver's license with proof of insurance and ability to obtain other licensures as required by state law.
- Be able to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
