What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Material Handler position at Frito-Lay North America?
We are seeking dedicated and committed Warehouse and Material Handlers to join our team at Frito-Lay, where you will be responsible for various warehouse and production duties. This role can open the door to career opportunities with our parent company, PepsiCo.
The work environment is dynamic, with 24-hour operations, which may result in non-traditional schedules.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers
- Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology
- Safely operate a forklift after training and certification
- Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer
- Maintain general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required
To be successful in this role, please ensure you meet the following minimum requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Be willing to work weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours
- Lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Stand and walk for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
- Climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
- Repetitively lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without reasonable accommodation
- Work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant
- Work in an environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces
