What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Specialist position at FRITO LAY?
Job Title: Full-Time Delivery Specialist
This position is responsible for safely operating a box truck to transport product to and from specified destinations while complying with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivering product on carts from our facilities to the customer
- Loading and unloading of product from trailers and or box trucks
- Pre and post trip truck inspections, driver's daily logs
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Delivering product, obtaining signature of receipt, picking up returns and completing logs and other paperwork related to deliveries
Work Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week. Required work hours may be up to the legal limits allowed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and may require weekend and/or holiday work.
Requirements:
- Safe operation of a box truck
- Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Ability to lift and move product as needed
