Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of production equipment at Frito Lay facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, read schematics, and use electrical testing equipment.
- Utilize preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues and implement improvements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a maintenance technician or equivalent role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems.
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and reading schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
