Description
Fritz Staffing Group is currently hiring for Journeyman Electricians to go to Vineland, New Jersey for a 7-14 day shutdown. You will be working 12 hour days, Monday-Sunday in a
Glass Plant. Jobsite Description and Requirements are below. Please have knowledge of the jobsite duties before applying.
Jobsite Description:
You will be assisting our customer in a Glass Plant Shutdown, some of the job duties include, but are not limited too;
- Perform LOTO on existing S-Tank Transformer
- Remove S-Tank Transformer and any existing conduit/cable associated with the transformer.
- Remove existing stairway and platform for conduit pathway.
- Remove existing transformer pad in conduit pathway.
- Trenching from duct bank cell wall to new pad location.
- Core drill inside duct bank cell wall for 12 conduit feeds.
- Cut out windows in concrete outside knee wall and exterior building wall for new conduits.
- Run 12 underground 4” conduits and stub up at new slab location.
- Fill tamper and grade trenching for conduits.
- Form and pour new concrete slab for our furnished weatherproof electrical cabinet.
- Build steel supports for strapping 12, 4” rigid galvanized conduits.
- Install 12, 4” ridged galvanized conduits from weatherproof cabinet to inside switch gear.
- We will pull in 12 sets with neutral customer supplied 750 THHW mcm and 3/0 Ground.
- From set in place transformer threw duct bank pass through new cabinet to inside switchgear.
- Terminate all new wiring in existing transformer and inside building switch gear.
- Test and inspect all connections, all wiring and grounding then label.

- OSHA 10 (at minimum, if you do not have OSHA 10 you will be turned away)

- Knowledge of LOTO
- Ability to run underground PVC
- Ability to CoreDrill
- Ability to pull 750 THHW MCM with 3/0 Ground
- Ability to run rigid conduit
