Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Spinal / General Rehab

Job Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 3rd Shift - Night Shift with a Holiday Commitment (2x12 Hr)

Guaranteed Hours : 24.00 per week

Experience : Minimum years of experience required; not specified

License : Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Certifications :

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Must-Have :

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice required for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.

Job Description :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in an inpatient environment.

Demonstrates competency in delivering care to primarily an adult population.

Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and / or situation.

Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.

Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation.

Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.

Implements the identified plan and evaluates progress toward the attainment of outcomes.

Attains knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.

Participates in ongoing educational activities related to appropriate knowledge bases and professional issues.

Demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning through self-reflection and inquiry for personal growth.

Identifies learning needs based on nursing knowledge and the changing needs of the population.

Participates in consultations to address issues in nursing practice as an application of education and knowledge.

Shares educational findings, experiences, and ideas with peers.

Contributes to a work environment conducive to the education of healthcare professionals.
