Job Title: Echocardiogram Technician Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced echocardiogram technician lead to join our team at Froedtert Health. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of echocardiogram technicians in performing transthoracic echocardiograms, setting up and assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms, and under the direction of a trained echocardiographer, setting up and performing exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and staff productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and promote a culture of teamwork and respect.
Requirements:
- 3 years experience as a cardiac sonographer is required.
- RDCS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International or completion of RDCS/RCS requirements within 12 months of employment is required.
