Job Details
The Registered Nurse collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and / or the situation.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or the issues.
Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation.
Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
Implements the identified plan.
Evaluates progress toward the attainment of outcomes.
Integrates evidence and research findings into practice.
Utilizes current evidence-based nursing knowledge, including research findings, to guide practice.
Incorporates evidence when initiating changes in nursing practice.
Participates, as appropriate to educational level and position, in the formulation of evidence-based practice through research.

Uses creativity and innovation in nursing practice to improve care delivery.
Identifies aspects of practice important for quality monitoring.
Uses benchmarks to measure / monitor the quality, safety, and effectiveness of nursing practice.

Participates on and / or leads interprofessional teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
Participates in and / or leads efforts to minimize costs and unnecessary duplication.
Identifies problems that occur in day-to-day work routines to correct process inefficiencies.
Consistently responds to patient call lights / needs in a timely manner.
Utilizes appropriate resources to plan and provide nursing services that are safe, effective, and financially responsible.
Assesses individual patient care needs and resources available to achieve desired outcomes.
Identifies patient care needs, potential for harm, complexity of the task, and desired outcomes when considering resource allocation.

Job Requirements
Registered Nurse licensure in Wisconsin
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
