Certification Details BLS Wisconsin Registered Nurse License Job Details The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. Demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and / or the situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or the issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implements the identified plan and evaluates progress toward the attainment of outcomes. Participates in ongoing educational activities related to appropriate knowledge bases and professional issues. Job Requirements Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
