Job Summary:
The Clinic Tech is an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. Provides delegated age appropriate care in a culturally and ethnically sensitive manner under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse, LVN/LPN and/or physician/APP. Contributes to patient care by assisting with tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment related to vital signs, performing blood draws, maintaining the environment of care, managing supply inventory, and/or assisting providers and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to enhance the patient care experience.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification or State of Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician License is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.
