Job Summary :
Manages the clinical and delegated management components of the Modified Care Unit. Responsibilities include clinical resource, hiring, performance appraisals and operational management to achieve department goals and strategic outcomes. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION :
Three-five years of recent clinical experience in which competence and expertise in Cardiac nursing has been demonstrated is required. In addition, minimally 1-2 years of formal management and leadership experience is required.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION :
Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC) is preferred. Certification in Progressive Care nursing is preferred.
