Job Summary:
Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non technical, and clerical functions. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience with customer service related experience in lieu of preferred education. Phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory/phlebotomy setting, inpatient and/or outpatient draws, preferred.
EDUCATION:High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Formal training in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant training or equivalent or Health Unit Coordinator diploma.
LICENSURE:
ASCP certification preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Knowledge of medical terminology;
