Job Title :

Radiologic Technologist

Job Specialty : Diagnostic Radiology

Job Duration : 26 weeks

Shift :

1st Overnight shift : 10 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am, Sunday - Thursday

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Experience :

Minimum of one year experience in Radiologic Technology

License :

Licensed Radiographer by the state of Wisconsin

Certifications :

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R registry certification required, CPR Certification required

Must-Have :

Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated
Experience in radiography
ARRT certification
CPR certification

Job Description :

Performs radiologic procedures, computer entry, quality control, and related tasks

Maintains paperwork and supplies related to radiology procedures

Ensures timely completion of radiographic examinations, patient care, and report relay

Determines accurate exposure factors for diagnostic quality radiographs

Acts as a resource for healthcare team members and provides instruction to radiography students

Checks patient information for accuracy in PACS and verifies studies promptly

Works independently in caring for ED patients and in-patients

Performs limited non-contrast CT head scans per acute stroke protocol

Expected to work holidays falling on regular shift rotation

High school diploma and graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
